Air Force Academy creates worship area for Pagans

So I just posted that link above to the story. When I first heard about it, I was ecstatic! Its so great that Wicca is becoming more accepted in the world, and tolerance is prevailing.

And then...

This story came out today:

I simply cant believe this. I thought we were actually making progress, and things were moving forward in a MATURE fashion. Im sitting here typing this, actually dizzy from pure anger. If we ran into a Christian church and started drawing pentacles on the wall, we would go to jail! But when they do it, its ok!? WTF.

That is so disappointing to hear. And as sad as it makes me to say this, simply I'm not surprised. As more excepted and large Paganism has become in just the past 50 years, there is still that horrid taste of taboo the dogmatic society has upon anything just un-dogmatic. Not even just paganism. Even the spirituality of the Hindi's is completely spat upon by dogmatic societies because it scares them, when in all honesty it's the dogmatic societies that scare the hell out of me! In all seriousness, though, hasn't history proven them much more fearful for the simple pleasures of life? I will start ranting and going off subject. I'm done now.

I just found this message forum and I am homesick! Cincinnati's Pagan community is so large! I love the internet. I have finally found it's purpose: TELEPATHY.

lol welcome to the forum! Im glad you posted that, youre totally right: we shouldnt be surprised. It happens all too often under the news radar that it somehow becomes commonplace. Well the tide is turning, I just found out that the people responsible for the desecration will have hate crimes charges placed on all of them. Justice will truly prevail soon! =D

The pagan community is pretty large, but were all so separate and spread out, I hope to change that soon when I build my church for the greater cincy area to come and meditate/pray, perform seasonal ceremonies and other events. It will be part of my house, and I'll work it full time, thats the plan. =D

My good friend and I are opening up a book store here in the Gatlinburg/Knoxville area in the near future. I am wanting to link my "wonderful" home-town of Cincinnati with consignments, directories, catalogs and calenders.

I have a plan to help in creating a shared consciousness with all who wish for the obvious : Peace and Love.
It all starts with networking and communication.

I have a contact in Cincinnati for consignment, but I would like more. If your plan for the Church follows through maybe we can work on that linking as well.
Who knows, maybe you can pass out coupons for my store and I can send some of this community to your Church when they visit family or the city in Cincinnati.
